The app installs from the browser
"9anime tv app" and "9animetv apk" are searched every month. On Android, open the site in Chrome and choose Add to Home screen; on iPhone, tap share in Safari and choose Add to Home Screen. It installs in two taps with the purple icon, opens full-screen with your list, your country and your episode marks inside it, and updates itself every time you open it. That is the app, and it needs no APK file, nothing from APKPure and nothing sideloaded.
Android TV and Fire TV
"9anime android tv app" and "9anime apk for android tv" are the television versions of the same search, and the answer is the same: the site opens in the television's browser and the services on the Watch now list all have television apps of their own, which is where the anime plays. The devices guide walks through Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV and smart TVs, and the casting page covers the phone-to-television route most people prefer.
What the installed app keeps
The list, the viewing country and the episode marks, all in the browser it was installed from. Export from My List to carry them to another device. Nothing else is stored, and nothing is sent anywhere; the safe and legal page says what that means.
