What travels when you cast
"How to cast 9anime to tv" and "how to stream 9anime to tv" are asked every month, and the useful fact is this: the picture comes from the service you open with Watch now, so the cast happens from that service's app, with its own player, its own subtitles and its own dub menu. 9AnimeTV finds the anime, keeps your place and holds your list; the service plays it on the television at full quality, with the phone free for the next search.
Chromecast and Google TV
Open the anime on 9AnimeTV, press Watch now, choose the service, and press the cast icon in its player. The television takes over; the phone shows the controls. The service's own app sends the stream directly to the television rather than mirroring the phone, so the phone's battery and screen are not involved and the quality is the service's, in HD.
AirPlay and Apple TV
On an iPhone or iPad, the same sequence, then the AirPlay icon in the service's player. Screen mirroring also works from Control Centre, but the service's own AirPlay button is better: full resolution, no phone interface on the television, and the subtitles rendered by the television.
Smart TV cast buttons
Samsung and LG televisions accept a cast from the service's app through their own protocols, and the Watch now list on every anime page shows which services carry the title in your country. Choose the country once and it is remembered. The devices guide takes each screen in turn.
